Great Ndegram Honours High Chief Amechi Amid Excitement.

How would you feel to hear or see your secondary school classmate attain or become a political figure in your state or country?

Happy, excited, isn’t it?

That was exactly how the 1991 set of Ndemili Grammar School, popularly known as Ndegram, felt when the news of the appointment of one of their own, High Chief Tony Amechi, into the exalted position of the Special Adviser to the Governor of Delta State on Investment, filtered into their ears.

During a surprise visit to Chief Amechi, today (November 17, 2023), in his office in Asaba, the capital of Delta State, his group of close-knit friends, from the school, and their host reminisced about their secondary school days, amid laughter while sharing stories of their youthful adventures.

Despite the passage of time, their bond remained unbreakable, as old-time jokes and jibes flowed comfortably during their discussion.

The ‘91Ndegram set lauded High Chief Amechi for his unwavering commitment to the upliftment of the cause of humanity and fostering economic empowerment initiatives, and more in his new position as the channel of investments in the state.

The visiting friends teased the High Chief on how he had transformed from the spirited student they once knew to be into a respected figure who is now full of humility and diligence geared towards the realization of the M.O.R.E. Agenda of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff F.O. Oborevwori, the governor of Delta State, as well as making Delta State greater and stronger, socially, politically, and economically speaking.

Chief Amechi’s good friends of old also poured their heartfelt gratitude to Governor Oborevwori for finding their old school classmate and friend worthy to serve in his M.O.R.E Agenda project.
