Construction Of Ugboba Health Centre In Progress.

The Aniocha North Local Government Council, in consonance with its good health care delivery for the indigenes of the towns and villages within its jurisdiction, has commenced the establishment of a functional health centre at Ugboba.

The piece of land where the Ugboba Health Centre is being erected was magnanimously donated by the good spirited Mr. Augustine Ositadinma Kanfunekwu, a native of Ugboba.

The Head of Personnel Management (HPM) of Aniocha North Local Government Council, Mrs. Patricia Mmakwe, has since sent a letter of commendation to Mr. Kanfunekwu in appreciation of his kind gestures.

Before this time, the Ugboba community has neither a hospital nor a health centre. Indigenes of the peaceful and hospitable town either patronize the patent medicine stores popularly known and called Chemists, or travel to neighbouring towns for medical treatment, whenever the need arises.

The Chairman Aniocha North Local Government Council, the amiable Hon. Chuks Oseme, has consequently promised that more towns and villages within his domain would get their own share of the good health care delivery before the end of his tenure, God willing.
